New Run - MINI2

Hi Folks,

At the Starbucks meeting, a run was discussed. We're talking about either poker rallye or a scavenger hunt.

While I haven't set one up in a while, I'm game to do this.

I'm thinking of a run that will start in the HR region, will hit some of our better known spots, and get some stuff together.

The person(s) with the most correct stuff wins. Also, there will be questions to answer along the way, just to keep things honest.

I'm thinking the first weekend in October, on Sunday (as I know some folks are always busy on Saturdays).

Anywhoo, let me know if there is some interest out there. I'll start working on the route and stuff. If we have enough folks (I'm thinking 10ish) by the 15th of September, we'll be a go.

BTW - you can do this by yourself, but a navigator will be highly recommended. You'll see why the MINI's speedo/odometer is in the middle....

Would someone who completely does not know your area be able to participate and have a chance? I'd love to come back down your way for an event.

Please check out this posting in the Mid-Atlantic Forum - I realize its a little way from HR but wouldn't want anyone to miss out on the opportunity.

Sounds fun.. who know we could end up at AIK at the end. Since im up there on most sundays now.

Yes Jen, anyone would be able to do it. Prior knowledge of the area is "equalled out" with the questions that will have to be answered during the route (signs, stores, etc.)

Cool, then depending on the date/time actually chosen you can count me in for coming down and possibly another MINI with my hubby.
