Question Need some help from the Philly-Minis

Need some help from the Philly-Minis, I will be heading to Longwood Gardens within the next week and I was hoping to find some "s-curve-scenic" routes. Any suggestions?

I will either be coming up from I95 Baltimore, or 301N Delware depending on things.

thnx

Hello ,

Here's a suggestion, exit off of I-95 North in Wilmington, DE, at DE Route 52 North. Travel North on DE Route 52 for a few miles, after passing through Greenville, DE, turn left at traffic light onto DE Route 82. Travel North on this nice twisty road that follows the Red Clay Creek valley into PA. DE Route 82 will turn into PA Route 82, continue North and follow signs through Kennett Square, PA, until you reach PA Route 926 East. Turn right at the traffic light onto PA 926 East and continue for a few miles until you see signs for Longwood Gardens. PA Route 926 passes directly behind Longwood Gardens.

This is an easy route for an out of towner because all roads are clearly marked state roads. You'll definitely enjoy Longwood Gardens. A nice side trip, if you have the time, is to continue East on PA Route 926 to PA Route 52 and turn left at the traffic light and travel a few miles on PA Route 52 North to the Simon Pearce
Glass Studio on the Brandywine Creek. It's free to watch the glass blowers and they have a store to purchase blown glass items. There's also an exellent restaurant to have lunch before your trip home.
Enjoy.

Cheers, Harper.
