I figured I would put this under this catagory, because I really don't know where to put it. Anyway, I was wondering if there were any other people out (Edit: Anywhere in) Ohio. I have recently seen several brand new Mini's around. Just wondering if anyone else from around here is on the Forum.

Yes. though not zillions. There was a MINImeet organized by miniyoda in Dayton. check out pictures here: courtesy of another Ohioan http://www.r53w11.com/ (click on events at the top). Most of the other OH people are centered around the C cities, since that's where dealers are, but they are around. Perhaps if you change the title to something OH related you might get more people, but many people don't scroll this far, so you should just stalk people's locations.

We're out here, but not very active right now. I'm kinda sorta leading a pack of motorers in the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana area (MINIOKI), but things are been dormant due to the season/weather. I'm toying with ideas on activities, and will post a call-for-suggestions next month.
In the meantime, you are welcome to visit us (if you are close to Cincinnati) on the 30th. I will be meeting with the Cincy dealership and some motorers to discuss how to help the club grow. Also, you can check us out on the Yahoo groups section (do a search for MINIOKI...there's two groups there).

IB/IB Cooper, Black Leather, every option except CVT, (plus bonnet stripes, rally lights, aero rear spoiler and floor mats).
I'm one of those MINIs in Toledo. I've only seen two about (excluding those at Yark) including a Black w/ White top and an Electric Blue S w/ White top. I also had someone stop me at Borders to indicate that they had a Silver S w/ Black roof.
Other than that, my MINI is the most unique thing around my home town. My kids get a big kick out of catching people staring while we're out motoring about.
MINIMUS is a Liquid Yellow Cooper w/ Black Top.
All three packages plus leather.
Satellite Radio is next!

I have a question for you L8 Apex- you don't by any chance autocross a 2nd gen yellow RX-7 do you? I know there's one with the license plate of you screen name. We have raced our S at akron events, and wondering if that Mazda is you.

Yes, I've seen the license plate several times, though never in Ohio. One was a blue 911, early 90's that I saw at a drivers school and I just kind of liked the name. It's going on my license plate when I get my mini, so nobody had better take it
