I have been thinking about attending the Mid-Ohio performance driving school for a few years now. At $575, it is not cheap, but no more expensive than the iPod, cards, and cables I just bought yesterday.
There was a lot of talk in a former thread about people who wanted to attend a track day, or driving school. Personally, I would rather do the driving school, in my car. At $575, it includes instruction and safety equipment. And best of all, in addition to the skidpad, autocross, and slalom, there is 45 minutes to an hour of laps around the track !!!!! If there is enough interest, we could definitely do this. There are only a limited number of dates available. Here is the schedule as of this morning. I would propose July 11, 2003, but look at the schedule and vote for your preferred month. Remember, this is Central Ohio, and April and October tend to be a bit chilly and wet.
So, here is a poll. Please vote honestly. If you want to attend, be sure to post a reply with your name and be prepared to fork over a deposit (50%) in check or money order, in relatively short order after we get a date confirmed. Until there is a deposit though, there is no guaranty of any date. So, the date may change subject to availability.
