hey yall,

i'm getting a cooper S and decided to get manual transmission. i fell in love with gear-shifting when i drove the MCS for the first time.

for those of you with manual in our fair city - do you find traffic to be really troublesome, when it comes to shifting and such? or am i overthinking the situation?

Iv'e been driving my Mini with manual for seven months, and traffic is not a problem.

i drive in the loop everyday.
i've got a cvt cooper but i love the S.
i think my next car will be one!

I will be driving through Chicago this summer — on my way to pick up my '03 Cooper S. We should hook up for a coffee or ice cream.
