Quad Cities - Help

My wife's been offered a position in the Quad Cities (Iowa/Illinois) on the Mississipi.

Anyone here live in the Quad Cities area and can help with information such as why we should move?

We know nothing about the area and must make a decision by this coming Monday, May 26.

ScooterMan, by now you have already decided. Hope the decision works either way. In answer to your question...you would be making a mistake to NOT consider the move. The QC area is very nice, just stay out of the flood plain of the Mississippi. We do get snow and cold up here but that is off set by the muggyness and mosquitoes in the summer. Sounds like home, right? Enonomy is OK, must be good for the wife to have been offered the job. The MINI would feel right at home. The nearest dealer is Chicago with STL being almost as close. A very good British club is in town, we do a great show in August every year. Check out QCBAC, they have a site with pix. So, hope the decision was not too painful, if you do come up give a yell.

We're on the way.
MINI Pearl will up there in July.
Wife has to be at work on 3 July. Now, to decide where we're gonna actually live when we arrive.

Can't be too many MINIs up in that area. Hope MINI Pearl doesn't get lonely.
