Hello,

I'm a member of the MINIsota Motoring Society. We are a group that is based out of the St. Paul/Minneapolis area and have monthly events. We do various events which vary from just drives to roadrallys, to local autocross events and group picnics.

I would like anyone in the area (we like Wisconsin and Iowa MINIs too!) to check with us here and see what events are going down and possibly join us!

Hey guys!

Thanks for checking this out. There are some events planned for August. Not totally sure what though - but I'll find out ASAP. I know that there is some sort of drive being planned up the shore to Two Harbors with stops at really cool places to snack.

If you want REALLY short notice, there's a drive tomorrow morning. Meet at IHOP in Bloomington at 9am for breakfast and then we're going to drive down a twisty highway to Pepin (?) and then to Stillwater, maybe for lunch at a Mexican joint and then home. It should be a couple hours worth of "spirited" driving.

Didn't you know in March of last year they changed the spelling of Minnesota to MINIsota?!

Anything going on Labor Day weekend up there in MINIsota ? I will be in the St Paul vicinity for the wedding of a good friend of mine Aug 29 - Sept 1.

British Car Show and Swap Meet
Rogers, MN

This event held at the Ellingson Museum in Roger's MN.
I will try to find a nice spot in the lot so we can
park close together. When you arrive pick up a copy
of the Newsletter. We are featured as a new group to
the area.

SCCA Pro Rally

August 23rd:
Come for a drive as we take the "North Shore Tour" on
August 23rd. We will meet at Panera Bread (St. Paul)
in the morning and make our way to the fabulous Duluth
area and beyond. Stopping for lunch at the Scenic
Cafe (http://www.sceniccafe.com/), tours, photos,
hikes, gambling etc...
There is an Evite for this event so please RSVP. The

Looking forward to meeting some of the MINIsotans coming to Iowa for the Cedar Rapids meet on Oct 4. There's rumors that some of you are making the trip! Should be fun!
