Northern Illinois Cruise 5/8/04

I know it's a little last minute, but with the weather finally looking perfect for this weekend (Saturday is sunny and about 80 degrees) I was thinking I might head down towards the Illinois River for some cruising. I thought there might be some fellow MINI owners looking for a chance to exercise their cars as well.

For those unfamiliar with the area, there are some nice roads with actual curves and hills, and it's always beautiful down there in the spring. Thought it might be fun to get away from all the traffic and straight/flat roads for an afternoon.

And if people are feeling REALLY ambitious, there is even a cool drive-in theater back in the western burbs. If people want, we could finish the evening off by taking in a MINI movie.

I was thinking of heading out from Glendale Heights (near Naperville) around 1:00.
