I am thinking about moving "back home again" and I have come up with a question that I can't quite find an answer for...

Is it required to have a front license plate?

I have asked some friends that live in Indianapolis, but they don't know. In fact one told me that he doesn't have one, but didn't know if it was legal or not. So I figured the Mini owners would be the ones to ask.
