| MINI Traitor | Thoughts on Traveller/Clubman pricing Obviously this is all going to be pure speculation, but anyone got ideas on how they could price the Traveller? By looking at MINI form anyone want to take a punt on what the difference might be of a standard S to a Traveller S? I'm thinking of waiting for this MINI, but I just don't know how they can price it in Aus. At the moment a Cooper S is priced at the same or more expensive than the Golf GTI, and even entry level 1 series. With a Golf GTI at 40k, and the current Chilli S at 42.5k, surely a Chilli traveller would have to be 45k+ AUD? WOW ![]() Clubman less.... ![]() |

Offline | For anyone who has ordered a Clubman, how do they handle the pricing? Any firm prices anywhere? Naturally, I'm interested in the dollar signs, but any information would be much appreciated. Offline | I did a config on mini.co.uk of my ideal "next" S and then added the 2 grand that the Clubman will no doubt add. It means I'd be looking at a MINI for the best part of 25 grand. That's crazy money. Can't afford that! ![]() ![]() |

Offline | This has been an area of concern for me its all very well getting excited but theres this voice keeps saying they are going to want a premium. The current S is out for me its too expensive now, A new Clubman, it would have to be base spec One or Cooper if I cant afford either thats the end for me and Minis. |

Offline | According to the local MINI Dealer the Clubman will be £1,200 more than the equivalent hatchback. Thus a Cooper would start from £14,225 and a Cooper S £17,200 As most MINIs seem to have approx £3,000 worth of extras fitted the cost ends up at approx £17,225 for a Cooper and £20,200 for the Cooper S. |

Offline | Seems ok for a second then you remember a basic S used to cost £14500 and then it does not look quite so good.Mini standard spec levels have hardly moved on have they . Not all Minis come with £3000 worth of extras mine never have. Will there be a One derivative? Auto Express claim a start price of £13500 for a "basic model" although they would claim the dashboard is made of cheese if someone sent them a spyshot. |

| MINI2 Master | Dealer told me his boss ( sales manager ) had just returned from a course on the JCW tuning kit and pricing for the Clubman. He claimed that the clubman will be £600 more than the hatch model for model. This would fit with what you normally pay between 3dr and 5dr cars. Let's face it, it's not an estate car is it ![]() 06 HB/W MCS Chilli |
