Online | Conclusive proof!!!! This is a right hand drive car (if you can't see the wheel, check the windscreen wipers) and they've left the rear suicide door on the "pavement" side for a left hand drive car If they couldn't be bothered to give us a RHD bonnet release for RHD cars, I very much doubted that they would swap the rear door to the correct side for RHD.Will it stay that way for production? The UK press will have a field day if it does.... Tigger. (great find by the way Minifritz ) |

Offline | Is there something that identifies this Clubman as a diesel? It's funny that in the first picture you can see the driver pointing a camera back at the photographer. |

Online | The larger grille at the bottom of the bumper identifies it as a diesel. Bear in mind that it's RHD, so that's the passenger who's taking the picture. Tigger. |

Offline | This is one of the main reasons I would never consider one (that and my lack of faith in the 2nd Gen MINI in General). "MINI aims to redefine the term 'suicide doors'. Succeeds. The End." |

Online | I take Goonery's point, but feel that the style has been badly compromised by trying to carry over too much of the substructure of the R50 (especially the bulkhead) and share too many pressings with the 3 door (especially the standard length front doors). It must have been very frustrating for the designers involved. Check the pictures of the concept car from a year or so ago and see what I mean. Even so, it's good to see the range expanding again. Tigger. |

Offline | Man, that is one UGLY looking car! Surely they'll change the way it looks before launch!? It looks like a 'Top Gear' challenge - 'Our challenge this week was to buy a hatchback and turn it into an estate - with a budget of £1000 and just 7 days to finish it... here's the result'! ![]() |
