Clubman boot dimensions?

On the announcement my wife is pregnant and due in Jan my first thoughts were not "I hope it is a boy", but the Cooper S Convertible will have to go! Having seen the boot size in the standard S I thought my love affair with the Mini would sadly end!

....and then the Clubman appeared!

My fingers are crossed it will fit everything that comes with babies. To put my mind at rest and allow me to place that order has anyone got details of the boot dimensions. I know it will have 260 litres with seats in place, but that does not mean much to a man buying a pram. I need to know the width, depth and height (really with the seats and luggage cover in place, but dimensions with seats down would also be interesting).

Thanks for any help

Seeing as you can get all you need for a baby (I can vouch for 0-4 years) in a MINI the Clubman should be more than enough!

Unless there's a helpful MINI employee with a tape measure tuning in, it could be a while before you get your answer I'm afraid.

With one child you'll be fine. You can always overflow stuff into the other back seat. The issue comes with the arrival of the second

Clubman less....

We managed with two children, a baby and a toddler, in an ORIGINAL Mini Clubman Estate when we were first married and still living in England, so I'm sure this much bigger (!) new one will be just fine...

Now proud owner of a 2007 Cooper S!

I currently drive a 2002 Honda Civic 3-door hatchback which is almost the same width as the Clubman, and about 24 cm longer. The luggage capacity is also rated exactly the same as the Clubman at 260 litres. For day-trips or even week-end trips, our 2.5 year-old twins, the nanny, my wife and I can travel quite comfortably. We put small bags at the rear-seat footsills if necessary.

We are also planning to buy a Clubman in a few years. We are waiting for that age when we will not require a nanny with us .

I wouldn't worry about space at all for daily usage. For longer trips, it is possible to use a roof-top luggage container.
