They are a Clubman only wheel for now, replacing the 17" Flamespoke option on the Mini hatch. Unfortunately we really want the flamespokes so we'll have to look out for some nearly new ones instead.

Been playing on the Austrian site configuring a clubman. Question is... the number of colours, wheels and interiors don't match what the UK Mini site is saying there is. For example, it says there are 12 colours available, but on the Austrian site only 10 to choose from. Any ideas anyone? Have Mini got two colours just waiting for the UK market? Will one of those be orange? Where has the cream line interior gone?

Nuttin' on the US 'site yet but ohhhmy the price is steep! € 25,450 is £ 17,254 is $35,139!

I'm glad now i decided to by an R56 last February to replace my R53 after 4-1/2 years & 133,000 miles. Over $30,000 is more than I can justify for transportation, even for a MINI!

As reported earlier on Motoringfile, the US Clubman is supposed to be priced in-between the R56 and the cabrio. An estimated $20,000 to start for the Cooper Clubman (9,398 pounds) and $23,000 for the Cooper S Clubman (11,377 pounds).

Prices outside the UK are never based solely on exchange rate.

The standard cooper s hatchback without air con or much else is £16000 over here but then we generally seem to have to pay more for most things

Poor you! Over here in Ireland a base model Cooper S with no extras costs €30,250 (£20,268). In fact a new MINI One with alloys in Ireland costs more than a standard Cooper S in the UK!

The funny thing was that we had someone on the North American Motoring site the other day complaining about how Americans are taxed to death. Let's see we don't pay a VAT on automobiles, we pay much less in income tax but we're taxed to death. I couldn't help but laugh.

Odd one on the UK configurator, there is an option under Interior Equipment to add or remove the rear seats?

Two rear seats. In the UK we can have two or three (same in some other markets), but North America for example only get two seats.
