I have to say that im luvin the look of the clubman from all angles apart from the o/s (uk) with THAT much critisised door!!!

For me it spoils it and looks too awkward / fussy

Paul, can you find whoever is in charge of the clubman, and then in a quite moment, engage him fully and ask...

"Are you aware of any plans within MINI to fit another door on the left hand side of the clubman?"

Watch his/her body language. If there is any hint of a nervous flicker, shuffle of the feet etc, whip out the gaffer tape and tape his hands behind his back and gag him/her. Then drag him off to a quiet room and beat a confession out of him, please

Could you tell me what the strange bumps on the edges of the roof are for? They don't look very nice and don't lend themselves to easy cleaning as they are quite pronounced.

What are they for?

Tomorrow, FAR too early in the Morning I'm heading off to Birmingham to catch a plane to Frankfurt for the motor show. Will be reporting back from the show then.

There was indeed a nice MINI Clubman in PW/B, but you would not believe how crowded the Clubman area is, bodes well for MINI for sure.

I think I got some reasonable photos at least!

, well done Paul, have yet a see a HC with a black roof as per my spec but i guess it will make it even more exciting when it arrives.

Well, the launch date here isn't until sometime in early November, but I saw 2 transporters loaded with Clubmans at the border with Belgium last night. I have to admit, they looked much better in the metal than I expected...even though I still do not approve of the spare door.

But i'm certainly prepared to allow my dealer to book me in for a test drive

Question - should it be the Diesel, or the S??

I saw you in Madrid. I've ordered my Clubman S 2 weeks ago and it is expected to be delivered the 1st week of december. I cant wait!!! I dont have nails anymore! Hehehe.

Apologies for the lack of reports from the UK launch. Unfortunately I was unable to fly for medical reasons, so couldn't make the launch up in Scotland.
