Offline | It's not surpirising that the press have concentrated on this aspect, the press generally love to print bad news as it sells papers. If anyone feels that the press are giving it a hard time, just wait to see what MINI's competitors make of it. I can imagine the emails about this potential weakness being sent to alterative dealer's sales staff as we speak. I am not so sure that calling it a"tiresome" debate is fair, it's just that it's now reaching areas of the public that were previously largely unaware of the Clubman, let alone its most controversial aspect. ![]() Unintimated and I'm back!! ![]() For sunshine, fun and Cornish Pasties: New MINI Kernow Cornish Oggy Run 2009! |

Offline | I think for us/me it can be tiresome because it just goes around in circles and either you take the glass half full, or glass half empty view. There's nothing much really to be said. I am honestly surprised how lightly BMW seem to have gotten off though. There aint no party like my nana's tea party |

Offline | Check out the seat mounted belts in BMW pillarless coupes and convertibles (and even in the Clubman concept car) and ask yourself why, even at the premium price the Clubman is sold at, they had to compromise on this vital detail ![]() ![]() Unintimated and I'm back!! ![]() For sunshine, fun and Cornish Pasties: New MINI Kernow Cornish Oggy Run 2009! |

Offline | It was a long time ago to be fair. It was one of the first thing some "insiders" passed on to us in terms of "problems" when using the car. There aint no party like my nana's tea party |
