hi all
we ordered our clubman diesel two weeks ago without seeing one in the metal,and i was alittle unsure whether we'd done the right thing,what with all the mixed reviews about.

so today was our first chance to revisit the dealer and take a closer look,and i'm very pleased to say, we are not disappointed!!

the build quality looks excellent, interior is very impressive,especially with sport seats/chilli pack,(which we've ordered)

view to the rear is not the best thru interior mirror, though i've seen a lot worse!! the door mirrors are well designed and you can see plenty thru them,though reverse parking wont be easy.

asked the salesman for a testdrive,and he was happy to oblige.
superb driving position,plenty of room in front AND in the rear too!
diesel engine not as quiet as VWs,but no where as noisey as our Nissan. very responsive,and over 2500rpm it went like the clappers. gear change very precise and smooth.
best bit on the road test was going round the roundabouts!! it really does feel like its on rails.

all we've got to do now is wait until ours is ready,(january, hopefully) and that wont come a day too soon!!
