Offline | It's official - I am now in the Club Picked him up today and wow!!!!!!! I am like this ->  The PW/Black and black lounge leather with light piping looks fabulous. So pleased I went along with OH's want for the lounge leather. Photos at the weekend. Oh and I now understand the BiXenon's - how cool are they when they strike up. |

Offline | So, have you been barred for Specialist until the new year then?  No freebies unless you count the keyrings and we get tons of those from our own marketing bods but my lovely friend had been to the showroom and had bought me a fab MINI logo keyring so I am using that instead. Not bothered about it overly - I just wanted the car! Apart from the test drive I'd never driven a MINI before so still getting used to it and parking it which is OK reversing actually. However, I still feel it is the width and length of a bus at the moment  That'll change within the next few days.My next door neighbour is a motoring journalist and will be sniffing around it over the next few days. Apparently I'm his new best friend - shallow boy!!!!! Now just need those seat protectors for the hound. |

Offline |  Mine arrives tomorrow Countdown has started big time... Like you..Pepper white but with brown lounge leather-a change from my original pre launch order once I saw how gorgeous the leather looked on a demonstrator. My fears of it looking like the inside of a 1970's Ford Capri were completely misplaced! Can't wait...just hope the money and insurance docs arrive in time... |

Offline | pertyb - It was the lounge leather I noticed first when I got to the showroom. You are going to be really chuffed with it. And the brown leather combo sounds delish so I can't wait to see photos of yours either. Gemini4321 - will look out for you too  Not much choice of the dog in the car at the moment tbh, just need to sort out covers, etc. Assuming I can fit her in of course - she can be a stubborn witch at times so may not want to get in it anyway.chrisandjax - I should come along but I am quite shy really Just need to check dates, etc. |

Offline | I am enjoying him very much. Tomorrow is the day I should be able to get a proper drive. I've just done small trips around town at the moment and feel like a caged tiger lol. I am impressed how much room there is in the car, what with being a MINI virgin before. I have just a mahoosive shop for Christmas (lots of people over during Christmas week) and got it all in. Bizarrely I have never felt the urge to name or give a car a gender before but mine is definitely a boy |
