Griffer's MK8 Cooper D Clubman

Went into the Sutton Coalfield dealers to look at the new Clubman and was offered £13750 for my Cooper D (got it in August with 3500 miles on the clock for £15000) against a new Cluman from their group stock. Said I would go and have a think and popped into the Ryedale Central in Birmingham on the way home. They offered me £14722 against a new Cooper D Clubman from their group stock. I obviously accepted the offer which was generous due to fact it was 2 days before Christmas and they only had to sell one more car to meet their December target. Picked it up on Saturday , really pleased with the increased rear room, 3 seats (for my three kids), easier access and the bigger boot. Spec is fairly basic but met my minimum requierments:
Cooper D Clubman
Pure silver with black roof and rear pillars
Pepper pack
Clear indicators
3 rear seats
Fluid silver interior trim
Additional decor rings
16" 5 star Blaster wheels
Smokers pack
I have added my Aero kit chrome side repeaters, JCW C/F gear knob, hand brake, stumpy aerial, silver indicators bulbs, JCW tax disc holder and my 3 spoke steering wheel with JCW inserts is being swapped over on Wedesday as part of the deal.

Thanks Tigger I just happened to be there when it was very quiet in the dealers and they wanted their months target bonus! I did 7500 miles in 4 months and it only cost me £280!

Our daughter, Roo, knows her cars!

They are either just plain Cars (they are not MINI's, so it doesn't matter what they are!), MINI's, Baby Mini's (Classics) or (as she said as soon as she saw the picture of Griffer's new Clubman on my monitor), Funny MINI's

I'm not quite sure what this proves, but it made me smile

Tigger.

Wow, it looks brilliant in Silver and Black, works really well, especially with the bits you have added, i love those side repeater surrounds!

Got my 3 spoke steering wheel fitted as part of the deal now. Also pics of how much luggage you can fit in a Clubman. In the standard car only the big blue case went in the boot, the others had to go on PJ's kids laps.
