also have the same problem with people peering inside, well not a problem really, .but cleaning the glass of greasy noses and hand prints is
just been out for lunch after cleaning and giving it a nice polish and guess what more greasy dorks on the glass,
but i do like the attention it gets as long as its the right attention

Sounds like its a occupational hazzard for your lovely Clubman!! Its so good looking and unusual! Park it next to a Focus and jjust see the difference. Its strange that people are so interested but nice though isn't it! Enjoy it! Once with my first MINI, I returned back to my MINI when it was new back in 2003 and there was a crowd around it! I was a bit shocked and flattered at the same time!

Had my Hot Choc clubman for 3 weeks now and it's like travelling back in time! I ordered my first mini at the motor show 2001, and picked it up a matter of weeks after launch day, the attention was incredible. It's a bit like that all over again. People do comedy double takes all the time. I've given 3 guided tours now to complete strangers. It's sad I know, but hey, you gotta enjoy the attention!
Only seen one other clubman on the road at the same time as I'm in mine. I feel the urge to wave much more strongly, I'd pretty much given up on this over the last few years.

They're certainly still a rare sight round here, I've only seen one other, a Nightfire Red/Silver one.

Bez your stripes look brilliant We're planning on getting viper stripes for ours and hoping that Mini Pirate can do them soon

So I was staying up a bit late, checked the Owner's Lounge, and see that my Pepper White Clubman's been built and is awaiting transport! So that's nice.

Most likely a month for it to be shipped over, processed, delivered to the dealer, outfitted with some dealer extras... So there's a lot to be done yet, but the car exists, at least! (In the meantime, we're driving our 2003 Cooper, so we're not missing out on MINI driving experience.)

The intensive tar renover took some hammer yesterday when I washed the Clubman it was covered in Black spots on the fron of the doors.

Funny you should mention tar spots, ours was covered in them three weeks ago, they were even on the back doors, work that one out.
All seems fine now.
1500 miles now covered and still not a single sighting of the ever elusive clubman
