I procrastinated for quite a while re: black or PW roof. if it had been a cooper S I think I would have gone for black roof and dark wheels. but the diesel fits a more refined, elegant look i think. I'm happy I chose the PW roof. Did you order a sunroof? I'll be happy to send u more shots if u like. Rob

I'm coming from an '06 Silver w/ Black MCS and I have to agree with your noting the more refined, elegant look of the diesel (and the non-S Cooper) Clubman. I showed my wife the photo and she's on board with the PW roof now. Time to call my MA and change the spec.

What interior did you get? I went with the Hot Chocolate cloth and leather with the anthracite headliner, chrome-line interior, wooden multi-function steering wheel and no sun roof. I was fortunate enough that the dealer had a car on hand with that exact interior (minus the chrome-line) so I could see it first hand.

And yes, I would love to see some more photos. Without sounding like a porn director, how about a few nice one's of the rear? All angles will do.

..and the rest. the interior trimmings are in piano black, seats are combo leather/fabric in carbon black. the piano black trims are proving to be a bit dust-attractive. you can see *every* tiny fingerprint and speck of dust on them. brown leather seats would looks awesome, but i didn't want to splash out on the leather seats (car was bloodywell expensive enough as it is).

We are still loving ours, we've done nearly 9,000 miles now

It's a long wait, by necessity, for me. The lease on my current '06 MCS is up in September. Slots were filling up very quickly at my dealer so I locked in for August build to assure timely delivery in September. I've been through the wait before, step by step. I'll be okay but anxious, of course.

I have to say that the PW/PW does look quite good. I had never been a fan of that combination in the regular MC, but in the Clubman I think the black pillars and surrounds really do suit this combination. Congrats!

no worries vaper. you've got something to look forward to. the clubman is every bit the car i anticipated it to be, and more. it's an awesome ride, more stable than my previous Cooper '04. The ride is quite firm on my 17" as the tyres are pretty low profile. But i like a firm ride. And like i said: remember to tell your dealer about the white indicator lights option, like on mine. the yellow ones would stick out like sore thumbs on a PW car in my opinion. Happy times to you

Speaking of winter I ordered my winter tyres on some 16" Cross Spokes they gave me a good deal on. Not too convinced about them when I checked it out on the configurator but we'll see. I'll post pics when I have them on next autumn.
