Pepper White Clubman Roll Call

Inspired by Supa's DS thread I thought I'd start one for Pepper White Clubmans

This is our Diesel Cooper Clubman, registered November 2007, now done just over 3,000 miles

So far we've had some parking sensors and a phone kit fitted and the plan is to get viper stripes added soon

Put the stumpy ariel on so far but must resist the temptation to pop the 17s on that are sitting in the garage, summer yes maybe but not in the midst of winter.

More PIctures.

I've ordered one: Pepper white with body color roof and black rear trim. Other details: 5-star wheels, cold weather package, auto w/Agitronic, front and rear fog lamps, multifunction steering wheel. How are you all liking yours?

We love ours Maurice, it's a bit of a change in size as my other half had an Audi A6 Estate before but my last three cars have been MINIs and it's great to have two in the family now

Nicky, that's just like the one I want (and hopefully will get this year). Can you please post more photos? I have been looking on the web for this configuration but didn't find others like yours.
Thank you.

Hi Brugo, I'll see what other pics I can find, because the weather's so awful at the moment we haven't actually taken that many photos of the Clubman yet

This is one we saw up in Durham, it was one of their launch cars, I like web spokes on a Clubman and the bonnet stripes look good too

Here are some more of ours -

This is how dirty the back doors can get - it doesn't often look like that honestly

Thanks Nicky, I'll be waiting for more pics of your Clubman. I did a test-drive the other day to one like yours (colour, wheels, xenon lights, also interior I believe) and fell in love with it. A shame I didn't have the camera with me to take some photos. Now just have to sell my current car and order my PW Clubman... Still long wait ahead...but some more time to get the £19300 it costs here in Portugal with extras I want...

Thanks for the tip! We're actually coming up from an '03 Cooper, so if anything we'll be adjusting to a bit of extra room in the boot and back seat. (The two little guys are only going to be getting bigger, so eventually they'll appreciate it, too.) During a rather significant round of service last month, we were given an '07 Cooper for a few days, and we really liked a lot of the changes that should be in the Clubman as well.

I complain of my black VW Polo being always dirty...
Thanks for the pics, more and more i like this PW Clubman. One thing, the interior is fluid silver? I was looking for piano black but I fear it will be too dark?

We've just checked the brochure and apparently it's brushed alloy trim we have, with an anthracite headlining. This picture is slightly better of the inside -

It looks very nice too. I have to see the real thing before deciding, but brushed alloy is a little more expensive than fluid silver or piano black.
For the headlining I have also decided on the anthracite, looks great and it doesn't get so dirty with time.
Any other extra you have that you feel is a "must have"? I included the chili pack on my configuration, which brings some extras that I don't feel are really needed, like the interior light pack...

Ours was a launch car so we couldn't choose the spec' but I think the only thing it doesn't have that we might have added is heated seats, but you probably don't need them in Portugal

I'd say the multi-function steering wheel is a must

We've had parking sensors added too, I'm used to them on my convertible so I like having them

I had heated seats in my previous Skoda Fabia, it might seem a nice but useless gadget but I do miss them on my VW Polo (even in Portugal and here in Algarve where I live, we have at this time of year early mornings with +3º/+4º, it's not that rare).
I agree with the multi-fonction steering, specially because it has the controls for cruise control which I can't fail to have (I do a lot of motorway and speed traps are becoming too common).
Did you upgrade your radio or the standard one is good enough? I'm not much of a fan of spending money in sound systems, the standard ones are more than enough for me but I'm open to suggestions... :-)
