Im not sure how well a Black Clubman will sell

I saw one being handed over at my dealership last weekend. It was a Black Cooper S Clubman with Silver back bits, it looked ok, but im not convinced?!

Have you ordered a Black Clubman? Waiting for one? Got one?

picked mine cooper clubman up on the 1st. absolutly lovin' it. and it looks better in the flesh than it does in the pics. and talking of pics I got the one already posted on here.

Were still waiting for the Clubman here in the Colonies, sometime this month. I think the 16th. I just did a Dealer assist trade out due to mechanical error or arrogance, the jury still out on that one. But it was A jet black cab S and I am biased, I dont believe theres any other color that quite fits the bill! All the others are quite nice, but it seems everynoe owns a silver or a red or a blue. We opted for the Astro and now I'm having the midnight blues. San francisco BMW laughed at me when after the decision at 18,000 mi. to trade out our car when I suggested we split the cost of paint. I would think that a clubman in jet black would be stunning but like I said I'm a bit biased.
And if your buying in the Bay area I'd think twice before entering said dealership. I've heard East bay Mini have won many service of excellence awards!

Think an All black Clubman S, with the two tone bit black, a set of polished R105'S, and works brakes would look the mutts nutts, with privacy glass especially so.

Well after a good 2 months of messing around I've finally took the plunge and got my Clubman.

I ended up getting a car from Sytners in Leicester (a bit of a trek but well worth the journey) they are a great Mini dealership and one I can recommend with ease to anyone else on this forum thinking of taking the plunge. They have some really good deals on at the moment with their ex-demo cars.

Cooper Clubman
Astro Black / Silver
Chilli Pack
Piano Black Trim
Chrome-line interior
Heated Mirrors / Washer Jets
Visibility Pack
MFSW

I'm more than happy with the car and the pictures don't really do the colour any justice, apart from it being a bit too shiny

Its far more economical than my Cooper S ever could be and the drop in performance isn't that great a handicap, especially when you take into account that extra little bit of flexibility the Clubman offers

Oh and that bonging gong is already getting on my nerves...

That belongs to my Brother (achem.....sorry I mean my Brothers wife), he is on the fourm as 'mellowyellowman'.

His car was delivered at the start of this year (ordered 1 week after the launch). Must admit it looks really nice, though I was worried a little before it arrived about the colour being far too yellow

The Clooper got crowned over the weekend

I was thinking about getting some roof bars so I can transport my Mountain bike around. after some fiddling I've got used to getting it in and out of the boot.

So I'm going to get a bootliner and make do with that for the time being, plus the MPG will be better without dragging a bike along on top of the roof

I've just seen one in Black a Silver in the flesh and though it looked gorgeous.

A boot liner is a must - plus it would look really smart in the Astro Clubman!
