I know some of the launch spec cars were Pure Silver...my dealer had a pretty basic spec Cooper. And there is a Silver/Black Clubman that lives up the road from me
Have you ordered a Pure Silver Clubman? Waiting for one? Got one?
Found this funky Cooper on MINI Cherished (not a great pic though!) Is it me or does it look really high at the back this one?
Interior Punch Carbon Leather / Piano Black / Chrome Line/ Anthracite Roof Lining
Then a host of other extras to completely dent the budget :-)

I have a Pure Silver Cooper. JCW Aero kit grill
Front Vipers
Black surround additional driving lights.
Clear side indicators
16inch Blaster Alloys (soon to be changed, anyone got any 17" S spoke for sale!?)
Hi Derek,
Well in know there is one on the 16th, Will try make that one. Look forward to seeing yours and Nicky's new beasts. Itcing to put a JCW front bumper on it at the moment, along with some 17" alloys. I'm saving all my loose change!
Have you got a link to the run on the 16th?
I have a Pure Silver Cooper Clubman on order for March 1st. With Pepper pack. Only thing I am not 100% happy about is the black roof (I hate black on cars). But I wanted it immediately and this car was in stock at the dealer: did not want to wait months for a new factory order.
Then looking through the accessory catalogue I thought I had the answer: contrasting stripes (the two parallel ones, are they called Vipers?), would break up the black roof with silver stripes, and of course black stripes on the silver bonnet.
They are listed as £49.99 each including VAT, say £100. But my dealer wanted to charge £250 to supply and fit!! (Reduced to £200 when I said it was too much).
Can they really charge £150 to attach some pieces of vynyl? If so I think I must be in the wrong business.
Question is: you can buy them on the Internet for much less (under £30). Described as genuine MINI decals. Has anyone tried to fit them themselves? Is it easy (I would not want to ruin the paint!!) Are there any specialists who can fit the decals for me at a reasonable price?
We bought copies for a Cooper and they had to be removed after 6 months looked terrible all dull and bubbly. I would swallow the pill and stick with the real deal.
Can you post pictures of your car please as I have ordered same spec black vipers on bonnet & boot lids and silver across the black roof but I don't take delivery until late April
Thanks in advance

Regarding the black/silver vipers you are having fitted (presumably by your dealer) how much are they charging? I might take your advice and bite the bullet, but as I said £150 or even £100 to attach vinyls seems a helluva lot to me. Nice though!
Yes, I will certainly post pictures of my car when I take delivery March 1st, and will also look forward to seeing pics of yours.
Vipers are a helluva a lot when compared to the factory fitted bonnet stripes at £60.00
But the Clubman S is costing me so much I thought what the hell add another £215.00 for the dealer fit vipers They did throw in TLC & Chrome Mirror Caps so if your dealer hasn't try and squeeze him for those stripes F.O.C.
