Offline | MC Clubman with 15" wheels ... any pics? The title says it all ... looking for any pics with the 15" stock wheels on the MC Clubman would probably go aftermarket later on, but looking to order a pretty bone stock MC and have yet to see one with 15's THANKS! |

Offline | No pics sorry as my other half opted for 17" with chilli pack but when we picked it up they had one in the dealers with 15" base wheels on and it didn't look right somehow. I think def 16" to fill the arches a bit better. I'm in for a service on my MINI on Monday so will take a couple of pics for you if none have surfaced on here by then. You can also use the MINI configurator on the main MINI site as well to give you an idea. |

Offline | Ive seen a few, especially as a company around here has about 3 to drive round in, their bright yellow eith 15 inch alloys, and look ok but i would say that you definetly need 16 or 17 inch alloys. ![]() ![]() I LOVE MINIS!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Offline | I think with the R56 / Clubman in general you need at least 16" IMO. The stock 15"s just don't fill the arches enough. Personally I think that 17" offers the best compromise between looks and handling. If you are planning on putting after market alloys on, as you say, then there is not much point wasting the extra cash that its going to cost you to upgrade. However if its going to be some time until you do, then slip some 16" rims on for now. ![]() |

Offline | Some in my Flickr page cick the link under my sig. ![]() Just not a fan of the 16s and the nicer 17's are way too expensive for me. I have a set of aftermarket 17's in the garage they will be going on for summer the Yokohamas on them are a bit too mental for Oldhams winter roads. If you need it I will do some side on shots and put those up. |

Offline | Thanks everyone! I agree that 16's and 17" are more astethically pleasing to the eye, however I don't want to spend the extra bucks upfront for soemthing I am going to swap anyway. Also on my old R50, I ran everything ... strated with 16 then 17 and finally tried 15" Holies ... which were by far my favorite ... super tossable and lightweight ... not to mention awesome in carving through snow beacuse of the narrow 175 widht. So would keep the stockies for winter and get aftermarket for summer. Shaun, great looking car! I think in some way because of the wider sidewall on 15's the wheel gap is less apparent than with bigger wheels ... a lot more "black" visually in the area ![]() And also thanks for inadvertedly answering another question regarding baby seats with the MC ... looks like your baby has good space back there. How easy is it to get the baby in and out? |

Offline | The rolling radius of the 15" and a 17" with low profile tyres is about the same, when I put the 17's up against the car to see how they looked they looked the same size overall. |

Offline | Pics of mine in this thread, with 15" winter tires: http://www.mini2.com/forum/mini-club...roll-call.html Tires are 185/60-15, smaller radius than the standard wheels. |

Offline | That PW/BLK really does look good. Just think if I'd ordered that color my neighbors might not even notice that I had a "larger" MINI. Very good looking - and love the extra chrome, too! I'm sure Aurel will appreciate that direct side view shot, Shaun. ![]() First love: MC CVT Indi Blue/White '04 Past MINI: MC CVT PW/Black '06 Present MINI: MCa Clubman BRG/BLK '08 |

| ukmini***** | I have the 16inch Blaster's, but have just put 17inch S Spokes on it, Looks far better with 17inch wheels. There is way too much black gap with the tyre and trim in my opinon with 15 or 16 inch wheels on the R56 or R55. I had 16inch runflats, but now have 17inch standard tyres, the feel of the car is harder and feel alot like my old MCS now. |
