Looking at the pictures of the superb Clubman Safety Car, I couldn't help thinking what a superb little Panel Van the Clubman would make. There must be many companies, particularly small one-man businesses, who need to have a van for work but would still appreciate a premium quality vehicle: imagine the fun factor of driving a Clubman every day in the course of your job.

The original Mini Van appeared in (I think) about 1961, soon after the car, and hundreds of thousands were sold, to diverse organisations such as the Post Office, AA and RAC, water, gas and electricity companies etc etc.

It will be a long time before Plant Oxford has spare capacity for such a project but I wonder if they have such a vehicle in mind for eventual production? And what about a Pick-Up, as well?
