| Loves the Fuzzy One | Tomorrow I join the group of Clubman owners, I pick up my Clubbie in MN at 8 am. Then I can start moaning about it. ![]() ![]() Global Moderator |

| Loves the Fuzzy One | Both of them. ![]() The GP went to a nice young man named Felipe, who drove it to PA, back here for AMVIV, then back to PA. Daisy was sold on Ebay to a 75 year old guy from WI who is into classic cars. As I demo'd features to him, he just kept saying "wow!" Picked it up here and drove it home. ![]() ![]() Global Moderator |

Offline | Got a call from Sherry, she was at the dealer at 0800, it took an hour to pick up the car, and she is now headed West. ![]() She was very impressed with the dealership, and is thrilled with the Clubman. She did not say how many cup holders were in the car, but it must be enough. Included in her baggage was a 1 to 4 power outlet adapter, so she could have all of her electronic driving aids working at the same time. ![]() She will be posting as soon as she stops for the night. ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Sherry does all the high tech stuff, she lets me change wheels and turn wrenches. I mostly just stand back and admire. ![]() ![]() |

| Loves the Fuzzy One | Wasn't fair to Morro to hijack his thread, I split these replies off to our own thread. ![]() I was on the road out of town before 10am and made a bit over 200 miles before I had to stop for sleep. Gotta say, I love it! The clubbie handles a little differently than the other Coopers we've owned and it doesn't have as much power as the GP but I'm still very impressed. The seats are a whole new level of comfort, they hold your arse like a baseball in a mitt. There's plenty of power and my onboard computer says I'm averaging over 40 mpg so far. My average mph is less than 60, I'm taking it easy for break in mileage.I'll be back to post pics later, after I get some uploaded. ![]() Global Moderator |

Offline | Congratulations Sherry and Jim Ray on your new Clubman - already personalized, teched out and on the road! Whahoo!!!!! ![]() I'm very impressed by that announcement the Dealer had next to your Clubman - never seen one of those before...kind of like high heels, eh? I also think it's great that you had photos of your planned color scheme, as well. Quick tech question - what kind of Garmin GPS do you have? I think it's a Garmin. I've been thinking of springing for one with some of my "Economic Stimulus Package" moola. Hope you're keeping track of the comments you get along the drive, Sherry. I wish you two a good night's sleep and will look forward to reading tomorrow's adventures. Sweet dreams! Offline | Great Start to your Clubman miles. The dealer has obviously made this an "event" for you, which is something we have never felt even after 4 MINI purchases! Enjoy! |

| Loves the Fuzzy One | Thanks all, I'm up and ready for day 2 on the road! ![]() BB, that is the Garmin Nuvi 650. It's on sale at Costco for $299, a real bargain! Works great and you can download the MINI icon from a guy who posts on NAM. I was a fan of OEM nav, but for $300 vs $2000, it was a no brainer. ![]() ![]() Global Moderator |
