Offline | I am in Aus and i ordered a Cooper S Clubman with the JC Worx Kit. When they tried to order the Kit there were 2 problems. 1 The exhaust is not compatable due to length and side outlets. 2 The computer chip for the JCW kit has been programmed to suit only the sedan chasis numbers. That means that the dealer can not order it through normal channels and the chip will be rejected by the car anyway. Unfortunately i got all the way to a week from delivery before all tis came to light. I was sent a copy of the email from either Mini or JCW division that said that due to an expense vs potential sales the decision was made and there is no current plan for a JCW kit to suit the Clubman. If anyone has any other info please share. |

Offline | So why did Mini send out a promotional video of a JCW Hatch and Clubman bombing around a test track? Sounds like a fob off to me, they probably plan to release it 'some time' in the future, I just get the impression they have no idea when these things will be released for sale. Seems odd they haven't got the kit together yet for the clubman, then again I'm not too surprised they seem slow with every accessory for the car, I've still got a boot cover on back order (over a month now) and my brother is still waiting for the bottom lip of his JCW grill. It seems like they are too busy building new cars to be bothered with anything else. Same goes for the Clubman aero-kit and rear spoiler. |

Online | Those videos are for the factory-built John Cooper Works models. Available in Hatch or Clubman configuration from July, unless you live in the UK - in which case you get to wait until 2009 for your Clubman. |
