Offline | Beware Hi all ![]() ![]() A cautionary tale be carefull what might be hiding behind the join in the club doors. Today while traveling quite away through a 40 mph speed limit I glanced at my side mirror and found a police car traveling behind me,looked in rear view mirror and he was gone.So I adjusted my speed to the right side of 40 and carried on hopefully he wasn't looking for speeding clubmans,he followed me for quite a while but to my relief he turned off. So be warned you never know what might be lurking there. ![]() ![]() Barry |

Offline | If you were only doing 42 then you had nothing to worry about anyway, a slight incline or decline can ping you a tiny bit over or under. I can't stand it when police follow you anyway, even when you KNOW you've done nothing wrong it's strangely unnerving! |

Offline | If your speedo said you were doing 42mph,and its anything like mine and over-reads by 5%, you were actually doing exactly 40mph. Therefore there was no problem. I find it annoying that the speedo over-reads. I would much rather know my true speed. |

Offline | Buy a portable satnav and use the accurate GPS speedo on those and sure enough, you'll see that your speedo over-reads. My MINI speedo over-reads by about 5%. Tigger. |
