Was actually looking at a Audi A3 first, but i went into the Specialist cars place dressed in jeans and T-shirt, wandered round for about 30mins and got pi**ed off waiting for someone to take notice of me and left... .Drove round the corner and bought a Mini.... Found the service to be first class ( so far)

yeah they are pretty good my dad is a good customer there (BMW part) so we got looked after pretty well.

I got all my vinyls(bonnet stripes and checked roof) and the Cooper S honeycomb grill for £0.

I would try get a nice MINI keyring outta them too

Woohoo...Thats my appointment made to go and collect, could have had it on Wednesday, but away for a few days...So Saturday 12.00o'clock it is... :-)

That will be 27days from ordering to taking delivery....:-)

Caught me out a wee bit, haven't sold my old car yet....

Congrats on your new baby. Let us know the name.

When I parked at a mall today, a family loading into their car unloaded to inspect my Clubman as I walked inside.
When I later drove off, I looked in the rearview mirror and saw all the fingerprints(on the barn door windows) from the gawker family. Put a couple towels in the hidden sub storage.

As for names, aint even thought about it, will leave that up to my kids...

My oldest, who starts driving in a few weeks has already decided he wants a Mini...

I ordered my Clubman S on May 16th. My MA advised me it would be slated for a "mid June" build with final delivery to me sometime in late July or early August. Talk about a wait time! That should give just about enough time to get the junk out of the garage so I will have a place to park it.

Trust me it will be worth the wait, i'm just heading back out now for another drive around town....
