Joined this thread a bit late but heres my spin, as a parent with 2 young kids. You can JUST fit a maclaren buggy into the clubman boot but it needs some playing with to get it in right and then the boot is full unless you want to load ontop of the buggy to the roof. OK you still have the underfloor cubby hole but frankly its a pretty unuseable shape. For 99% of prams - forget it. I previously had a Nissan Micra and bought a Loola pram as it had the smallest collapsed dimesions and fitted the Micra no problem. It will NOT fit in the Clubby. Dealers are very helpful - just take the pram down and try it out. The Club door does help kids access to the rear but headroom is restricted for you to get in and do up the N/S seat belt. To be blunt the Clubby is loads more practical than a standard Mini, but if you have young kids, tread very carefully. Weve all seen yummy mummies struggling to put darling son into their Mini, but do you really want that crap evey day when there are so many better family cars out there? If you have another car then the Clubby is great and I love mine, but its certainly not a practical family car. But it is way cool and drives like a go cart
