Spare Tire Kit

I recently had a flat (large nail) and had to use the mobility kit which includes the liquid you have to inject in the tire, etc... etc...

Long story short, I wasn't pleased with this solution or the performance of the "tire goo" and now I prefer getting a replacement donut wheel, jack, etc... so I could change out the tire if I wanted to. Also, if the tire shreds, I can't imagine the liquid solution working at all.

I spoke to the dealership about ordering the spare tire kit and they are insisting that if I didn't order the Clubman with the spare tire kit there is nowhere for me to attach the spare. Apparently the car has to be ordered with this option. I expressed my doubts about this, but they are insisting this is true and that I can't order the spare wheel kit. Am I being strung a load of BS?

Part Numbers are:

Wheel - 36111509164
Tool Tray - 71106778759
Screw - 36106782325
Retainer - 36106781466

Check out BM Mini Parts website, saved loads on the price quoted over the counter and its all proper stuff.

And the cheapest place I found for a 115/70 R15 tyre was Kwik-fit's web site at £42 plus £8.50 to fit.
