Locked of Mini without connected battery
Okay so originally the problem with my mini cooper was the radio not turning off when I had completely shut the engine off. So my parents told me to just disconnect the battery and wait to solve the issue in the morning. Not even thinking, I manually locked the doors to the mini cooper on both the driver and passenger side.
I looked in the Owners Manual and saw that it is possible to get into the car with the fob key. So inserted the key into the drivers door and turned the key both ways. Unfortunately, neither way unlocked the door. I got tired of trying to figure it out so I was just wondering if I'm missing anything when I'm trying to manually get into the car. The manual just says that in case of a electric malfunction, the driver door can be opened manually.
