S skirts on a convertible one.

Has anyone fitted cooper S side skirts to there mini one convertible?

There seems to be an additional safety bar under the car that appears to be bolted on top of the existing skirts and I'm not sure whether these can be worked around.

Has anyone managed to do this? Is there a way of doing it without moving the bar as I don't fancy unbolting it.

Thanks for any help

Neil

I put the Aero skirts on my MCC and to fit them you have to remove the cross brace. It's just held in place with a Torx screw (55 i think) - failing that, you should be able to cut the sill to fit around it.

No problem at all... with the right size Torx bit unscrew and refit one side at a time...

It's just literally a bolt-on bar!

I couldn't get the brace undone, so went the other approach and cut the skirt, so if you do struggle you can just do that with no issues

If you can get the bracket off you still need to cut a hole for the bolt and you will need to cut a slot in the lip too so .

Don't worry Martin, I made sure he kept well away from any power tools, he made a pretty good job of avoiding the sponge as well
