Just been reading through all the letters 'n' stuff from MINI that I've missed over the last few weeks. Apologies if this is old news already.

As of 1st December production the MINI Convertible range will be available in Lightning Blue instead of Hyper Blue, which is being discontinued.

Has anyone ordered a Convertible in Hyper Blue that won't be built before the end of November?

Its a bit of a shame really, it would have been nice if the colour stayed as a colour for the new model only IMO.

Lightning blue is beautiful, kinda a cross between mine and Electric Blue which was a fave of mine

That'll most probably be the colour of our next one I'd have thought (it's certainly our current fave of the new colours). Glad I managed to get a Hyper Blue in though - fantastic colour!

Just had the colour swatches through. It looks only a shade or two lighter than Hyper. I don't think it'll be that noticable tbh.
