Offline | Just love our new white MCSC which we collected this week. One small question is has anyone tried one of these rain repelant products for the rear sceen and if so does it help? Only other complaint is the lousy wet weather.........but we are still having fun! Thanks Nick |

| R57? Bring it on! | I religiously Rain-X all my glass every month. It works great on the front and side screens, but really has very little effect on the rear - you need the wind to blow the water off, and that simply doesn't happen on the rear (unless you are reversing at an unreasonable speed!) You'll need to keep a squeegee handy in the boot - I got a thin one designed for shower cabinets, and I keep it velcro'd to the underside of the parcel shelf - works great! Ian |

Offline | Rain-X has no effect on rear screens as it requires an air force to push the water off the glass, so unless you intend to drive backwards lots at high speed don't bother ![]() Oh and another word of advice, don't put it on the side windows of a convertible, as if you decide to have the roof down and it starts to rain a bit while driving, then all the rain runs nicely off the glass and into the car and you get very wet ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | I haven't Rain-x'd mine and that happens to me every time! ![]() ![]() ![]() Thought it was normal! I did get the Autoglym Lifeshine stuff applied by the dealer [7000 miles ago] so maybe that has had an effect!? |
