Fuel Consumption Tuned MCSC's (JCW GTT etc)

What are people with tuned MCSC's getting by way of fuel consumption? For the first time in 6 months I actually bothered to take note and got about 250 miles of mainly motorway driving before the fuel light came on. So that means around 280-ish I guess. Has anyone got over 300 .

Edit - I should add that this is running only Optimax/VPower and Tesco 99.

I only run Optimax Sham, mines a JCW210bhp, I average 22mpg, and get roughly about 220 miles out of a tank of fuel

I know a GTT/Works hybrid that has a pretty quick owner that says he gets around 300 with reasonable regularity.

I use Tesco 99 and any other premium fuel where possible in the GP and its doing 30 mpg according to the computer, not reset since day 1 and i've done nearly 4000 miles mostly at 70 mph where possible

Quite shocking really! But then I only get 29/30 out of my Cooper.

In contrast, our E430 Estate (4.3l V8) will return 27mpg on a motorway journey.

did much better today, had a little blast in an R56 and my average MPG for that was 26

so they might say they are better on the MPG than the current car, but, not when you drive it like you stole it
