To reduce the risk of hood wear am I better leaving the top down when I put the car away (if it's already down) or should I put it up ?
Unfortunatly I can not update my boot lid problem at this time (negoatioations on going)

As long as your garage is dusty free, wouldn't make any difference leaving it down.
Although don't be doing for long periods of time as it may leave creases,but a day or 2 shouldn't pose too much of a problem.

I'd leave it up, as that is the position that wears it least, also prevents dust going inside the car, and the possibility of mice or other living things making your car their new home or meal

I always leave the roof up in my garage cause of dust and the other day i saw the biggest spider i've ever seen floating around so now it always stays up. If My garage was part of the house then i would prbably leave it down some days as a would be able to maintain the garage a little better in cleaning
