Offline | Handbag Tips What do you fellow girls (and some lads) do with your handbags when going topless. Glove Box, Boot or where ... Does this mean my dear old husband is going to have to buy me some new accessories to go with my forthcoming Mini - - new handbag, new outfits, baseball cap (is this de rigueur?), Crocs, ... Offline | My front seats have nets on the back of them which I have found very useful in holding "stuff". If your handbag is suitably sized then it should fit or maybe look at it as an opprotunity to buy a new handbag that will fit :-) The nets do hold quite a bit of stuff and "each" is easy to access from the "other" front seat so they are quite convenient... If you know how many MINIs you have you don't have enough ... |

Offline | I'm here ![]() How did I miss this? ![]() If I'm driving out in the countryside topless on my own I'll have my handbag on the passenger seat, but I usually move it down to the passenger footwell when I get into town so it can't be pinched when I stop at lights etc ![]() If I've got passengers I'll often put it in the boot as I like quite big bags and they take up a bit of space ![]() As for hats and things, for summer I have a few sunhats and baseball caps which I keep in the car (along with a small tube of sun cream and a lipgloss with sun protection), and then around October time I'll swap them for a selection of wooly hats, gloves and scarves ![]() ![]() |

Offline | It has to be the footwell or boot as I would be worried about the easy acess of the netting. Nicky..picked up on the change your hat thread last year, just wish i had more chance to use the sun hat this year before the wooly comes out again. Need a picnic blanket in the boot, summer and winter essential |

Offline | I guess I'm just asking for trouble. I put my gigantic bag on the passenger seat with the passenger side windows (front and back) rolled up. It would be quite a reach for some punk to pinch it and they'd be awfully surprised by the heft of the thing. On the rare occasions when I have a passenger, I cram my bag between my seat and the back. As for hats, I'd really like to find a furry one with ear flaps for chilly winter evenings. Hopefully, our temps will dip below 90 in a couple of months. |
