United-Kingdom Warranty Repair Question

Hi all, new member here..............

Just had a new roof and all the components fitted under warrenty to my Hyper blue with blue roof Cooper s convertible. I am not exactly over the moon about the quality for the work carried out, especially when the labour charges alone were over £1200 ( charged to BMW ). I may have a nice new roof, but the roof frame seems very apparant when looking at the car from the rear and sides and appears to be almost bulging through the new canvas.

Before complaining, could a few of you post some close up pictures of their roofs, so that I have something to compare with.

many thanks.

Welcome to MINI 2, unable to help with the roof pictures, if you took it to the dealership, maybe compare with some other convertibles on the forecourt?

Hiya ,when i had my convertible i was always aware of being able to see the frame thru the canvas, even after i had a new canvas fitted..
Sorry i dont have any close up photos, but how about you take one of yours and post it here and see what everyone thinks?
Hope this helped a bit

Hi Folks....

You can see the frame on mine quite obviously - more so when the fabric is wet for some reason.... not the best pictures angle wise, but hope they help.

Hi
I have recently had a new roof fitted under warrenty. Like you I was a bit concerned over lumps and bumps, especially when I see convertable VW beetles looking all sleek. I assume this is a mini thing and will put up with it, although I will be looking closely for any wear and tear over the next year!!
