Cool A New member

hello fellow cabrio's

Ive just purchased a MC cab in cool blue with 17's and most of the trimmings looking forward in the coming year to hop it up a bit with a few mods, a bit of boring stuff about my past first, Ive always been into cars since very young and started doing karting at the age of 12 moved up to euro twin engine racing karts by 15 and raced my own which i maintained with the help from my cousin, passed my test and advanced driving test a few weeks later and got a 1275 original mini and started hotting it up, second car was an old Austin 1300 VP which again i modded suspension etc moved on from that to a cossie sierra and then from that to a tigersix with a ford 2ltr pinto with 45's and fully race prepped engine 0-60 was about 4.2 had to sell that due to starting a family and got a 2.2 dci espace remapped, and that brings me to today and got myself a second car, the MC cabfor going to and from work. looking forward to playing with it as well !

Welcome Steve - enjoy that mini!
I often poodle down the Marlow bypass to Maidenhead so will look out for you - I drive a pepper white MCSC.
Had the roof down today when the sun was out - bizarre thing really with some snowflakes still floating about!
Don't know whether you visited Brooklands last Sunday? Fantastic array of hundred's of mini's and the test hill was a hoot. The mark 1 mini's there took me back to when I had my old cooper (my first car) which I had to park on a slope to bump start on a damp morning!
