I don't know when it is released (and after seeing it, I don't really care), but I saw a Black Mini Cabrio with its roof down speeding down the M3 yesterday....

Anyone else seeing them on the road in the UK yet (I expect there are a few knocking around Oxford). Is the conversion being done in the UK or are they shipping it out to the likes of Bertone to carry out (like Vauxhall do with their softtops)?

Quite a few spotted, and it's a factory job.

Are you sure it's the genuine Cabriolet? Just that it looks very similar to the "bespoke" cars edition.... ;-)

I saw a Red Mini Convertible with black hood in Edinburgh yesterday-- and IMO it didn't look any better than in the photo's-- reminds me of a big pram. Sure it will look better when down thou. It was raining hard and I was just glad I had a solid roof over my head

May have been the same one that Steve saw 10 miles south of Loch Lomond this afternoon

As far as I know all MINI test vehicles are black (although some are not black, but over sprayed black, if that makes any sense). The one you have been seeing could well be one of the early cars converted by the Bespoke Car Company, as I know they did have a red car.
