Scotland Cabrio spotted!!!

Hi there,

I was driving north up the M74 towards Glasgow last night when I spotted a MINI Open in the opposite carriageway heading south!!

It was chilli red with a black roof. Has anyone else seen it? It didn't appear to have any disguise trying to cover up what it was, maybe on test or a promotion or something?

I was kinda excited at the sight of it as you can probably appreciate!!

Goonery you are like one of those soap stars who go on to Parkinson or something and can't reveal the plot lines.........mind you I am not the slightest bit interested in Dirty Den or Corrie, unless of course there is a mini on set!

Tell me Mr Goonery will you be getting one of these topless cars when they come out? I see from one of you previous posts that you have had 7 minis in the previous 3 years!

Hey, do us a favour tell them in the know - that we love this car to pieces but can see through this tight wad nonsense about having to pay for interior lights and a bleeding glove box!

This kind of thinking is not all about bespoke, tailored marketing catering for the individual it is blatant rip off! ..............Sorry Goonery man, not getting at you, this is my second rant in 2 days, its not the minis fault just having a poo time at work any jobs down there? ))

Absolutely my fellow MINIiac, Depends what you want to do, £11.75 p.h on normal shifts + all the overtime you can eat, splendid golf courses too, we have a bunch of Acid Crofters who come down and do the weekend shift, sleep in their Bus/Van contraption and then head back to the highlands for the week. I do'nt buy the marketing idiom either, its just a very cool car. And yes I'll probably volunteer to do some sorting of the pre launch cars if there are any avail able.

Now go and have a nice single malt, and chill with a few Shooglenifty tunes

The car spotted was built by Bespoke Convertables. I Have been using it in my shows up and down the country. The car is a MINI One. I have a replacement S due soon so this car is for sale for £12500 (cost new £18700) russ@russswift.co.uk

Maybe that one was on a trip to Edinburgh, as I saw a 'convertible' there, back in late September.
