Surprised there isnt a thread about this already.... My dealer recently asked me to confirm which model I was going for - One, Cooper or S? One and Cooper available from June, S later on - Sept? I've plumped for a Coop - how about you?

I think Wollaston would be well advised to pop you on the list of all of their cars just in case they can persuade you

I think I'd need to see a cabro in the flesh (as it were) before deciding. And I'd want to see how much slower they all were than th hardtop models. And how well the car handled scuttle shake.

Placed my deposit back in August. I intend to buy a Cooper but my dealer didn't/hasn't asked me which model I want.

Do you folks over on the other side of the pond have an official release date yet?

I stopped by my dealership a couple months ago asking if I could be put on the waiting list, and they said sure, but couldn't give my ANY information about the new convertible (I knew more than them)

That is why I am on the list for the MINI covertable....it was their suggestion

Disregard my post from above. I have changed my mind. I am going for an S conv. (well actually Sandra is going to get an S)
I will stick with my ordinary JCW S.......
