I must admit to having looked at the new RX8 over the weekend....

... Anyway all the RX8's i'd seen seemed to be a normal flat red, however they dont do that colour, its a kinda pearlescent effect called Mica... but you can only really see it in the correct light and close up... looks nice but dunno how many would notice normally !!...

I do like the look of the Cabrio in that Purpley colour... cant wait to see one in the flesh !!

Paul,

You mentioned that the S cabrio you saw had the same front and rear bumpers as the current S. From that is it safe to assume that the S will not get external styling changes in 04, just the new dash etc on the inside?

The grille and lights have changed, not much else that you can obviously see.

Only thing is (and I know Minty's suffering from the same

) I can't open the pics properly! I don't know whether everyone's having this problem or if it's good old Damon's server???

Can I just add that Technoviolet is MUCH darker than that...

A little better, but it's cutting off just below the top of the windscreen on the "Close" image.

Great work guys.... Did anyone else notice in the pics that they have got the speedo & rev counter on the steering column, so must have sat nav then, but they have a standard aerial instead of the shark fin on the 'A' pillar? Interesting

I would say there is more chance of it having the new centre gauges, so therefore retains the ariel and then speedo and tach are over the steering wheel.
