Offline | Estimated delivery date???????? Hopefully this post hasn't been posted previously (I searched back to november, no threads since then), I was just wondering if any of you had been given an estimated delivery date as yet? I'm gutted, orderd ours last week and was told the estimated date would be Sept (probally the end of september going by my luck and whats the chances of 2004 being the shortest summer on record?). Just being a bit nosey, who's orderd and when are u expecting it? Also how accurate is the estimated time you think? |

| 1151bhp/tonne | I am fairly certain that my dealer only has a list at the moment. I doubt that they will actually have been given allocations by MINI yet. I am popping in to see them at the weekend, but I doubt they will have much info. To be honest I wasn't even expecting mine till spring 05. I am not high up the list though. Which version are you going for? ![]() ![]() Black to the future.... |

Offline | We have opted for another "One". Our dealer has taken our deposit which I presume is for our production slot allthough they couldn't give us a proper spec sheet as they dont know what options are available for it as yet. We enquired about a cooper and was told that the wait would be even longer. Just waiting on a phonecall now to pop in and have a chat with MINI. They seem to think that it will all be official in march when the car goes on public display prior to the One and Coopers launch in june. Why would a dealer want a deposit just to go on a "local" waiting list? |

Offline | We should see official photos some time in February. I will be at Geneva on the 2nd March for the launch at the Motor Show, so we should have a LOT of information by then. I'm guessing (from production "information" I have and media events I am aware of) that the car will be on sale in One and Cooper form in late June/July and the Cooper S will be around September. Educated guesses you could say. As to why they'd want a deposit to go on a "local" waiting list? Because they did this with the MINI Cooper/One before launch, and certainly the S too. Dealers have an allocation and they will make their own lists and will usually require a deposit to be on that list. |
