Im also sticking with the 16s.... do a lot of motorway miles and was worried the 17s might make the ride a bit tiresome with the low profile. They do look bloody wonderful though!

Daz - how much are the R90's?

Are they a dealer fit option?

17" R90s are £1795 as a complete wheel set! Absolutely beautiful wheels though!
16" R90s are £950 as a complete wheel set (including tyres). Hope this helps. These are only from MINI and are in the accessories section on ministry of ownership.

OUCH!

I have to say this is a tad on the pricey side...especially compared to 17" Bullets at £370 (with Chilli pack)...

For sure "pricey"!!!! I don't think you can get them as a replacement in any option pack. I think it's just a straight £1800 for them! I have seen a few people who have got a reduction from their dealers on here but I'm sure they still all paid over a grand for them! I've been told that BBS make wheels just like them for cheaper but I would prefer the branded ones, just my opinion.

Laura, the R90s are made by BBS I believe, if you can get them from them, they will be just as good.......

R90s usually cost £1,200.00 if you trade in your S spokes with a helpful dealer.........

It's sooooo tempting to lump on the extras with a MINI convertible, but pretty soon you can get a Cooper up to near £20K without even trying.

When you can get an A4 Convertible for £23.5K (haggling required, but possible) this starts to look OTT...

I'm trying to keep my wife's car the right side of £17K but she wants Chilli, leather, multichanger, 17", etc, etc. Much over £17K and the depreciation will hit fairly hard I would imagine.

yes but i'd want the S4 cabriolet
audi have similar option lists to mini, when i looked everything (for delivery at launch) was extra and before long it was well over 30k. I was waiting for a 3.0 quattro version which is over 30k, the s4 is in secondhand 911 cabriolet country pricewise.
It is easy to go mad (and i have)
