Offline | Motorshow 2004 - Quick Report A quick update on what's happening on the MINI stand at this years UK Motorshow. I visited today. Cars on Display: One - Yelllow One D - BEP Cooper - Red/White Cooper S - Hyper Blue/White Cooper S JCW - Dark Silver One Convertible - Silver/Black Cooper Convertible - Hot Orange/Blue Roof Cooper S Convertible - Solid Black/ Black Roof (looks awsome on the 17" Bullet Alloys) There are two new brochures. A Motorshow special featuring all the models/specs/prices etc and a second smaller brochure with much less info in but with some colour swatches. MINI owners (you must show your key fob or 'Ministry' passport to enter) visiting the lounge area will be given a MINI goody bag containing a little MINI car shaped fridge magnet (very cool!), a tin of MINI branded mints and a MINI convertible pin badge. You also get a 'dress up a MINI pack', which is a blank picture of a MINI with stickers to add you own roof graphic/wheels etc. The lounge area also gives you a VIP view of the 'Open Air Theatre', which is Russ Swift and his buddies showing how driving can really be done. It is excellent! All MINI owners should visit - we had a great time! ![]() |

Offline | Yes - although it was difficult to get a decent idea of the colour because the show is relatively dark with lots of 'stage' lighting - if thats the correct term??? There was a red MINI One Conv, a Hot Orange Cooper and a Cool Blue Cooper S. The Cool Blue looked very nice though. I was most impressed with the Solid Black Cooper S on the static MINI stand. It looked awsome with the Chrome mirrors and boot hinges. |

Offline | I only took this one snap, which is fairly rubbish. Wanted to take more but the Cooper S was constantly surrounded by drooling admirers. All I can say is you've made the right choice, all though I may be a little bias as I've also ordered Black+Chrome Mirrors and boot hinges, but with a red interior. I really wanted my Cabrio in Cool Blue, the missus wanted Black (she won of course). I'm glad she did, it was definately my favourite colour of all the cars on the stand. The chrome mirrors really do look excellent. Roll on July... |

Offline | Nah It's orange and chrome, has the mini logo on one side and the dealers name and mini emergency service and accident management telephone numbers on the other. Looks legit. If i see any barred mini owners tomorrow at the NEC I'll lend it to them! I'll be the bloke looking worriedly at the grey plastic door trims on the hyper blue cooper s-oh and asking lots of questions on cd players, xenons, sat nav and the M6 toll road etc. |

Offline | Or take your MINI order conformation or get your dealer to whip up a letter saying you'll soon be a MINI owner! The guys on the entrance to the lounge aren't scary security types, I'm sure they'll let you in. ![]() |
