what about hyper blue??? anyone got a pic?.

If I missed, my mistake. I just can't find a thread that gives a realistic photo of the HyperBlue Cooper s Cabrio.

And if you were going to get this color as your option. What interior leather or cloth package would you buy.

I've chosen (with hyper blue MCS, blue roof)
Blue leather-orange stitching is a bit daft
Still not sure what interior to get-have ordered hyper blue
Hyper blue interior looks odd
Not sure whether to go for anthracite or patina instead
Cool blue exterior is very tasteful -but possibly a bit bland, the interior is much much nicer

hope this helps

Thanks DINGER.

Yes I find the Hyperblue dash a little hard on the eyes. Maybe JCW Works will have a option in 2005.

""Blue leather-orange stitching is a bit daft""
I not sue what to do also. Tt this moment MINI has not offered a interior that is well suited for Hyperblue.
Again Hyperblue starts in U.S. in 2005 Cabri, Maybe some changes. Otherwise. I may get custom leather.

the problem with custom leather is the seat air bags in addition they are different again to the air bags on the hatch -i asked the mini technical guy about air bags on the cooper seats and he'd never thought of it!
in the flesh the blue seats look great except for the stitching-but i am in no doubt about them -the hyper blue interior is another matter

i think we're both on the same wavelength as far as I can work out the interior options for hyper blue interior are hyper blue, anthracite, patina and wood (yuk)-are there other options?
are you really considering the special colours? does the price include interior painting?

RENAGAS : I Want the Hyperblue interior. Just not the dash. Just to much "HYPERBLUE" in my face. Hoping a Carbon Fiber option will be an option later , in production.
As you mention in another thread:
""the computer code on the ordering system is dash in BODY colour-you cannot have a hyper blue car with an orange dash""
And in this:
""think we're both on the same wavelength as far as I can work out the interior options for hyper blue interior are hyper blue, anthracite, patina and wood (yuk)-are there other options?""

Is it possible to have other interior paint options in U.K. in the cabrio?

RENTAGAS: sorry for the name mistake.
I understand now, I am ordering an S. Cabrio.
This does not give me the interior options as does the Mini Cabrio.
""The dashboard and parts of the door linings are available in Silver, Anthracite, and with wood and aluminium-style trim""

Maybe I can look into the aluminium dash trim face if it turns out to be hot looking.
Stuck with the HyperBlue until then.
Time will fix all!

Hi rentegas i am seriously considering python has colour because the colour looks stunning from all angles on car and it is different and not many people will have this colour because of cost of paint i am going to find out if i can have interior colour the sme and also cost of car on select finance payments per month after working out my figures it will take the cost of my car up to £25364.00 and i intend to keep the car for 3/4 years to get my moneys worth. i reallt dont like that hyper blue interior if i was going for hyper blue now i would hwve to go fo one of the silver interior dash.

daz111: Are you able to order a Cooper S. Hyperblue in August 2004?
In the U.S. That color is only being offered for the Cooper S. in January 2005.
And we cannot or the Mini Cooper S. without having the same painted color on the interior trim.
I thought Mini only gave that option to the MINI.

Interior Seats
That is my problem, There isn't a interior that is suited for Hyperblue, Maybe black.
I live in a southern zone in the States and the sun would BAKE those black leather seats.
Need a lighter color or similiar color to Hyperblue for me in interior.

Have a look at my Motor Show pics of the Hyper Blue MCS at:

http://groups.msn.com/miniconvertibl...incconvoy.msnw

I think they came out quite well!! Also there is BEP in there.

The blue (rather than blue black combo seats) look alright in the hyper blue cabrio MCS the problem is the hyper blue interior. In the UK you can have wood anthracite or alloy patina on an MCS but cannot have a differnt body colour ie cool blue etc. My build date for my hyper blue MCS cabrio is 16/7so I do not have long to change my mind. I intend to revisit my mini dealer this week to look at cars with the alternative interior trim. I guess it would be possible to have an aftermarket interior colour change eg carbon fibre even if i get hyper blue and don't like it. I do like the hyper blue exterior rather than cool blue though and extravagant as I am cannot face spending another £2500 on a fancy paint job

What i don't mean are the blue black seats seen behind this cooper works seat below (looks odd having different seats in the front and back)
I agree this combination would clash with all the blues

Mini should have thought of the interior options for the seats, RE: HyperBlue.
When I bought my first Mini S in 2002. The Indi Blue color had matching leather seats.
It looks great.

Just want the interior not to Clash. I'm not an interior designer.
But, I have to drive the D-M (great) Mini car.
Rentagas, This is one H-LL of a decision you have to make.
I will be waiting.
I have 4 months to order, so it is not as imperative.
