Offline | Cooper S Convertible spotted? Just saw this near where I work. Sorry about the quality of the picture, took it with my phone. Is this for real? I thought that the Cooper S was out later on in the year?? |

Offline | Here it is http://community.webshots.com/album/169066473TESwPO The angles of the photos don't it much justice, it actually does look quite aggresive from some viewpoints. First notes (We have had a MC with 17" S spokes & SS+ before) Great fun, lots of people double taking at the car. I had a Lotus Elise in the past but this attracts more attention. Ride is a bit harsh with the run flat tyres but still good HK - at first I thought i'd wasted my money but once turned up a bit it's great. Sat Nav - Very good, I need the french disk or european DVD if any one knows where i can source this at a limited cost Heated seats - excellent rear visibility - awful, just need to get used to using mirrors more performance - not unlike the MCS demo though unable to give much stick to the car at the moment until 1200+ miles Roof - excellent, no rattles etc Good sound insulation Rear view mirror (auto dimming) - the sun seems to reflect off the dimming layer in the mirror making the rearview a bit dull some times. Load space - great, on the way home from the garage we had a wind deflector, a Saute pan (in box) and also 7 bags of shopping all in the boot. All in all, no faults to report and very happy with the dealer service and the car Cheers, Peter Black MCS Convertible with all the trimmings-Now arrived!!! |

Offline | Very Very Nice Car Peter. Enjoy. Black suits the car particularly with the standard black side skirts, arches etc. Mine seems to be smoother on Optimax. Exhaust popping and cackling is great. I've given up keeping to 4500 rpm. After Top Gear everyone thinks minis are slow! |

Offline | Thanks, I've noticed the slow Phenonema with people pulling out on me, gave a guy with a 306GTI a bit of a shock when he did it (must remember that 4500 rpm limit ).The exhaust popping is a nice touch too .PS the laptop next to me says 1.11GB of 1.4 completed, hopefully by the morning I will have that DVD working .Cheers, Peter Black MCS Convertible with all the trimmings-Now arrived!!! Offline | Saw a Hyper Blue Cooper S myself today and couldn't believe my eyes It's for Sale Brand new on a NON MINI dealer forecourt, a company that specialises in imports and prestige cars. They've had MINIs in the past for immediate delivey when waiting lists are long for a particular model but they seem to charge a bit over the odds for the privalige of beating the waiting list. Anyone interested the dealer is lodge motor company at Yateley in Hampshire, advertised on their website (www.lodgemotor.co.uk) as being for sale at £23K, it wasn't their this morning so I reckon it only arrived today. I'd be interesting to know how much over the odds it is on price for the spec. Spec is advertised as:- Hyper Blue metallic with Dark Blue leather electric heated sports seats, navy blue power hood, Chilli Pack, auto air conditioning, D.S.C, wind-deflector, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, heated washer jets & mirrors, Radio Boost, TLC service pack, Cook1e http://cars.cookiehome.co.uk/ ![]() 2,000 Miles Round Britain in 48 Hoours in a 37 year old Classic car, Please Sponsor me:- http://www.rbrr.cookiehome.co.uk |
