Offline | Look at the end of the little sliders. The only one that comp[letely disengages is the one without the screw head. Slide it all the way back and it all falls apart neatly. Offline | I have only used the wind deflector once, that was when i got the car. I took it out of the car a week later cos i had passengers. Do you think i could fold it, more chance of pulling Charlize Thuron. It is still standing in the hallway, tall and proud, 2or3 weeks later. I must admit i have not tried since. I agree, the instructions are poor. (my excuse.) TOP OFF AT LAST. (Everybody be cool, you, be cool.) |

Offline | I spent 20 mins with everyone one from sales, parts, reception, etc when I collected my Coopre S Conv. The trick is that when fold it down 1st push back into the unit the non screw head part that fits into the side panel of the car. 2nd put this end on your foot, push down the other end which fits into the back panel, (this is the important bit) while holding it down pull it away from the wind deflector, this releases the hinge to allow it to fold !! Good luck |

Offline | Oh come on, it's not that hard! I though that we were a brighter than average bunch, us mini drivers! It's not that tricky, just a technique needs learning. It's tricky to explain, but simple to operate! keep at it! Paul Goodbye TinTop Red & Black, Hello Astro Black Cooper Convertible! |
